Psalm 89:14, 18 "Justice and judgment are the habitation of Your throne: mercy and truth shall go before Your Face. For The Lord is our defense; and The Holy One of Israel is our King."
What do you need justice for in your life? There have been countless news articles and the lack there of with racial profiling within this self-proclaimed beautiful country. Not only have blacks been considered non citizens and ostracized in many circles, but Christians as well. This is nothing new. Injustice has been happening for years. So what do we do? Do we panic? Question God's concern? Take matters into our own hands by fighting evil with evil? I will tell you what we should do. We keep in mind that God is still Sovereign.
On a daily basis there are people fighting all over the world for justice. People fight for justice in their homes, communities, jobs, and country. There are many fighting just to be alive. In China women fight to keep a female child because sons are more favorable. Throughout various parts of the world people are fighting just to see another day. Little children being taught how to use guns and hate before their ABC's. Where is the good judgment? Then we may have justice being denied on the workforce where you have given your all to the company and they give the boss's nephew the raise instead. What about going to school for years to earn a degree that your loans seem to be higher than your annual income? So the scripture states God dwells on Justice and Judgment. It is a part of Him. Just because it seems like the wrong people are making it doesn't mean they really are making it. For the first shall be last and the last shall be first says The Word! It is very much okay to be upset and vocal about any injustice that happens. Had it not been for others speaking up who knows where America would be right now. All I stress to you and myself is to not be perplexed about whatever is happening in the world around us. God is ALWAYS at our defense.
Christians deal with an injustice every day. Openly gay people can come out and have a parade. Meanwhile Christians are hushed about The Love we have for Jesus and His Word. Justice has been such a one sided subject here in America that it makes it hard to believe in the constitution that was so constructively taught to us as children. We know that The Word brings more clarity on life issues than any man made manuscript. Justice has never left because Justice is God. God reigns on The Seat of Justice and Judgment. Satan may think he has won, but his time is short and God will do away with all evil in His Timing. We don't have to keep Hope alive because Hope never dies. Hope was on The Cross and made a Promise that whosoever believe in Him will not perish, but inherit eternal life. Hope saved and defended that believing thief and still defends today. Hope is Jesus. Jesus is our Hope. He is our Defense and has been for years. We may not have the justice we feel we deserve, but we do have Peace. Peace in knowing that our God is our defense in any trial we face no matter the circumstance or how harsh our natural eye may portray. Know Justice, Know Peace.
